The First Month of School

Wow.. Have I really been in Nursing school for a little more than a month?!? I started this journey on August 12 and it has been one wild ride so far. Starting with orientation day and joining 29 other classmates in the University of Mobile's ADN program... we were all quaking in our boots and nervous as all nuts even though some of us were cooler about it than others :o)

Slowly but surely we got into the swing of classes and started learning what we would be facing the next 5 semesters. From how to study to what happens when you're late for clinical!!

To date, we have taken 4 tests and for many of us they were telling about what we can expect for the rest of this journey. For my core study group we have done well for the most part. A few people found out the hard way that it takes more than just hope to get them through.

Can't wait for all the new stuff and things we will be learning as we start this process. There will be photos that follow shortly!
